On the afternoon of October 25th ,2019, China(Shenzhen)-Hungary(Budapest) Economic Trade Exchange Conference was held in Budapest, the capital of Hungary. The event was hosted by Commerce Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality, organized by Shenzhen Association of Trade in Services, greatly supported by Budapest(Hungary) Enterprise Board. The organizing committee of 2020 Shenzhen(China) International Import Fair(hereinafter referred to as “SZIF”) and Shenzhen All World International Exhibition Co., Ltd were invited to participate in this event with the Shenzhen Economic and Trade Group.
The guests presented at the event have more than 100 people, including Deputy Director of CBOSM, Mr. Zhou Mingwu, First Business Secretary of the Economic and Commercial Office of the Chinese Embassy in Hungary, Mr. Feng Chun, Director of the Department of Electronic Economy and Innovation of the Ministry of Science and Technology Innovation of Hungary, Dr. Nicholas Andorra, Director of the Budapest Enterprise Bureau,Ms. Piroska Szalai, Executive Chairman of the Shenzhen Association of Trade Services, Mr. Xie Xiaobiao, Director of the E-Commerce Division of CBOSM, Mr. Zeng Jinhui,Director of Industry Promotion Department of Qian hai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone, Mr. Zhou Yaorong.the representatives of Organizing Committee of SZIF,the well-known enterprises from China and Hungary,and senior representatives of Political and Commercial Association.
The atmosphere of the on-site exchanges was enthusiastic. Mr. Zhou Mingwu, Deputy Director of the CBOSM, delivered a speech saying that in recent years, the Belt and Road Initiative and Hungary’s “Opening to the East” Strategy have been continuously strengthened, which provided a vast space and rejected a momentum of impetus for the development of China-Hungary relations. With the momentum, the development of China-Hungary relations was rapid. Hungary is China’s reliable trading partner in Central Europe.
The representative Organizing Committee of SZIF introduced SZIF to the leaders and guests at the event.SZIF was guided by CBOSM, organized by Shenzhen All World International Co., Ltd.and Shenzhen JD Global Supply Chain, and was held once a year.The first SZIF will be held from March 24th to March 27th , 2020 at Shenzhen International Convention & Exhibition Center with the theme of “Connecting the world, make the future better”. It aims to create a connecting platform for Chinese merchandise and the world’s and bring global quality products into Chinese market.
The fair will mainly exhibit daily consumer goods and foods, which has 9 areas including foods, beverages, cosmetics, household commodities, pet products, Shenzhen friendship city zone, cross-border e-commerce exhibition area, trade-in ancillary services and tourism culture exhibition. At that time, over 80 countries and regions will participate and 70% of exhibitors will be foreign exhibitors. We sincerely invite Hungary’s entrepreneurs to attend the 2020 SZIF and go into Chinese market.
Ms. Piroska Szalai, Director of the Budapest Enterprise Bureau, gave a wonderful exchange to the economic and trade situation in Hungary. Hungary was a landlocked country in central Europe. The economy has developed rapidly and has reached the level of moderately developed countries. Hungary was politically stable and trade was open and established good relations with China since the establishment of the People’s Republic of China. Hungary was also the first EU county to join the Belt and Road Initiative. Shenzhen, as the most vigorous opening window of China, we hope we can carry out sustained and deep economic and trade cooperation with it, and develop together.
Ms. Piroska Szalai has expressed strong affirmation and support to the host of SZIF.She also expressed her willingly support and guide the small and medium-sized innovative to go out of Hungary and go into China and participate in SZIF to experience this international platform.
A number of Hungarian enterprises at the event expressed their strong intention to participate in SZIF. Let’s share new opportunities for cooperation and win a new chapter with the same spectrum. After the ceremony, the guests and leaders on the scene conducted a tea break exchange and the exchange was a complete success.
